Ahh, true. Newer metal/screamo, like Atreyu, and the like are getting very popular around my school, by people who I would never expect to like that music. I've been a fan before they released there new album, however, it is what made them popular.

But they never changed their image or sound, they arent a sell out.

actually, its the record company that markets them. mtv is part of the market, though has huge relationships with major record companys. so the "New thing" is based off of the M.R.C.(major record company), they pay MTV to play that crap. and vice versa for other promotions. :(
