A little bird told me a few things about the IAO for 2005.

1) No 5-Man. Thats right...All 7-Man and 3-Man this year.

2) The 7-Man will be for NPPL Points. Not just a 'feeder' series, but for NPPL Standing points

3) the vendor's area will be moved closer to the field, and as such, the food area will move down too. Consequence of that is you won't be able to park quite as close

4) paint prices are coming down

5) Scenario Game will not return

6) The guy who runs the Owners Groups Division is an idiot

none of these are official and some may end up changing. just wanted to keep ya'll in the loop and hear what ya'll think

if the scenario game isn't going to be held, then I don't see much reason for me to go. Nor a lot of my friends.

Why would anyone cancel a game that caters to a large part of the paintball community?

Because it's a paintball tournament

exactly, the scenario game was the most retarded idea at a tourny ever, both years, and all it was put there for was tro make even more on the rediculous paint prices. good to hear that they are comming down in price. no more 5 man? bad move i think, last year the biggest division was the 5 man.

aslong as ogd is still 5 man, no worries here!

Or perhaps a 7 man? :D

or perhaps not. its hard enough to get a 5 man roster together, more so than you can imagine. so many backouts and roster changes, sometimes all the way up to the day of the tourny. 7 men would be even harder

While on the subject...

Scenario game not returning.. GOOD! I was one of the co runners for the first one and Debra made it next to impossible to make it run... IE three days prior to the event.. " oh by the way here is the field " It was fun clearing a field of glass , barbed wire and other nasties. And then have to play create a field because the lack of natraul barricades made it impossilbe for the field to be any fun...

But no "hard" feelings.... After all I was host of the IAO's first scenario game and all I got was a lousy T-shirt and plaque

Im no longer associated with Divine Craft Productions in any way shape or form.. and my name was the only thing edited out..

    and one more
