Buying custom paintball guns is just not the most practical way to spend money for most 14 year olds. When I was your age (god how old does that make me sound) I was into MX and dumped enough money into that that I could have changed what school I went to and what I could afford to drive.

And sorry I didn't lavish praise on your marker, it's great and all but it's just not my style, if I was going to buy a custom marker, probably the last thing it would be is an angel.

...angels are to common? there was a grand total of 2 at the field last time i went, one A4, one A4 fly, countless trixes/timmy's, a team of cyborgs (paintball kingdom team), 2 vikings (mine and an 03 halfmilled) and that was preety much it for the range of markers on the airball field (it was closed off from rec players, for CFOA practice)

so, while, no, i woud not have payed for that stuff on his marker, i defintely think it is unique and, hell, he got the ups for free anyway (because of his 1337 haXxor web desighn skills) the thing will rip heads off, and cost him $450, whats there to be complaining about (other than he is flat broke and cant even buy a new burst disk for his tank or pay for shipping on a potential trade :tard: )

anyway, nice marker, bringing it over tomorrow?

and are you playing next tourney with David? Will be fun rolling you guys if you do.

You don't need to justify yourself. It's your money, and as long as your parents allow you to spend it, then it's yours to spend.

It's a darn nice Angel, and I wish that I could afford to buy one!!! (Of course, my timmy suits me just fine =) )

that is a sweet angel, but im wondering why you went with an ir3, for that price, you probabally could have bought a used a4, and i deffinitely know you could have bought a used 04 speed, and probabally had it aced. I sold mine last spring for 650, and i know the price has dipped lower on em.

thats what i would have done, for the fact that the speed 04 is atleast updated to all of the new internals(SANS G7)

yeah, brand new A4's are like $800 at some places now.

Then again, the milling on the iR3's are my favorite. and its still plenty fast.

and whoever was commenting about the 14 way, they arent 225, but they are damn close if you get it from a master tech, so, thats just the way it is, why this gun needed a complete new one, i dont know

yes, i gotta agree with cliff, 99 percent of the time, there is no reason for a new solenoid, it just needs to have a gasket reseated, or a new gasket installed, or possibly a new plunger. these little things dont really cost that much! for some reason though, there is a mass markup on them

dont get me wrong, i dont doubt this gun needed one, if tag replaced it, im sure it was done for.

but, that 14 way is hella expensive.

edit-just noticed the lasoya trigger...def. my fav. IR3 trigger, had one on my mamba IR3

he had the IR3 for a long time, Tag offered to do this, i encouraged him to try his best to get a speed because, like you say, its a superior starting platform, but, he couldnt come up with the $$$, but, i still say $450 dor that is no wehere near a bad deal.
