its a classic mag, being sold by someone who claims it costed him $800.

"custom magnetic trigger lets you shoot faster." on a mech? lol

"new lightweight bolt, more accurate and faster." i'd like some proof.

"...paid over $800 for all of the upgrades and gun."
Depending on the age of the original marker, yes, he could very well have paid $800. I won't comment on his other claims, nor will I comment on your lack of knowledge of AGD pricing.

Automags were one of the most expensive markers on the market 12 years ago. A basic single trigger level 7 automag sold for over $500.00. Once you added a few goodies to it, the price easily went over $800.00.

He probably did pay over $800.00 for his mag. He probably doesn't realize or want to accept the depreciation of its value over the past few years though. If a person is just selling their equipment to recoup some of their investment due to not playing anymore, then they are going to lose a lot of money. If a person is upgrading, then the loss of value isn't as great, because the newer equipment is also alot lower in price than it used to be.

I like it, and I would play with it.

Not for no 500 bones, though.
