Does anybody know where you can find those wood grips from Smart Parts? I am trying to find a set of rose ones that fit the original frame, not the 45.

They're around from time to time. I've got a pair rhat I'd like to put on a Mag at some point. I used them for years until I got an Intelliframe.

You know, wood grips look like pieces of turds on your marker.. I don't know why anyone would want them anymore.... but if you are looking for some turd grips, you could try the dealers forum...

There are soo many better choices.

I am all booked up with grip orders. I will not be taking new orders until probably the spring. Thanks for the mention though…..

(Note: All other products are available, only grips are fully booked up.)

Heh Heh, Heh Heh, you said turd. :nono: And you are WRONG. How bout a pair of hand carved Cocobolo grips by a Certain Special Artist. :wow: And Shartleys backed up cause why?

I'd beg to differ.

I have a pair of rosewood grips that fit the old-style frame, and they are beautiful, AND comfy.

Hey what is wrong with turds. Some ppl like the warm, squishy feeling from a fresh turd in their hands.

But I dont really I dont. :ninja:

Look closely at the info on that ebay auction, the name is adamg-man and the location is Latrobe, PA.

That's funny Smart Parts is selling thier dead stock on ebay:)

Most wood grips do look pretty plain and don't improve your grip over rubber, get some black sticky grips instead of the smartparts wood ones.

However...I've been making myself grip panels and complete wraparound grips (yes, wraps around the front and back of the grip, for that complete wood-wrapped look- requires skill with a router) for awhile. I use Cocobolo, Imbuya, Zebrawood and Bocote, along with some walnut and others. And of course I include molded finger grooves, etc.

So if you are going to bother with wood grips, spend some money and go top shelf.
