How much would it cost to convert a classic mag to a bump mag? I am think I would like a pump, and since I have the classic lying around I put two and two together.

You need a pump body and a rail with a pump slot.

you need a pump kit if you know where to look you can find them afordable, otherwise on ebay they go for around $150. then you may or may not need a pump rail and body with a pump slot. those if needed can be milled for $25 each.

the hardest thing to find is going to be the pump kit and the body. there are rails around but the milled body and the kit will be hard to find. i got lucky and got my pump mag from a kid that was local. if you are serious about building one 1st find a pump kit and a body then look for the rail

SS mainbodys with pump slots are not hard to find, I don’t know the dates but for several production years all agd classic and minimag bodies had the pump slot milled in to them.
If the underside of the body had a larger rectangular hold rather than a slit it’s ready for a pump.

so the $10 pump handle and rod that tom was selling on ebay was a good deal then? I would just need a rail that would work, and a body and I could have a pump gun.

If I don't end up selling the gun, I will definatly make a pump. I think it would be good to get back to my paintball roots and play with a pump for a while. I learned how to play on a bushmaster pump when I was 10ish, i'm 23 now

good luck finding a full kit.
