What lesson could they learn? Did she ever think that she didnt ask loud enough? I hate people who would do such a thing as sue over this.

They should go back and give her pot-brownies. Then about 2 hours later come back and really freak her out!! :ninja:

"The victory wasn't sweet," Young said. "I'm not gloating about it. I just hope the girls learned a lesson."

What victory? The judge awareded no damages which means there was, most liekly, no decision against the girls.

Sounds like this woman just has a few screws loose.

I was wondering when this story would make it over here.

What judge/jury decides crap like this? I mean, come on! Guess if I find someone's wallet, I won't be contacting them to give it back, lest I give them a heart attack with the door bell or the phone.

it says she spent the night at her sister's. how the hell did she get to her sister's without noticing the cookies on her front doorstep? and how does a 49 year old get nearly $900 in medical bills because she was scared and got an upset stomach? she was obviously in poor health to begin with.

That's the type of person that needs their throat slit with a spork.

But yeah, $900 for an upset stomach dosn't add up.

Just go to an ER, $900 is nothing. I ended up with a $4k bill for an acid reflux induced trip to the ER (was in so much pain, I couldn't take a normal breath). A few tests, a few meds and boom, it's the uber bill.

BTW - I don't think the suit had any merit, just saying $900 is easy.

Young said the teenagers showed "very poor judgment"

"The victory wasn't sweet," Young said. "I'm not gloating about it. I just hope the girls learned a lesson."

I hope this some teaches this guy a lesson and slaps him in the face.

"The teenagers' families offered to pay Young's medical bills, but she declined and sued, saying their apologies were not sincere and were not offered in person." That's from the story

I think at the court should have told her to go to... well you get the idea.

That is completely stupid. For someone to sue someone over doing something nice.....BAHH... It makes me think of what this world has come to today..

That is one of the worst things I have heard in a while. Makes me sad to be an American.

sure, I try to do something nice for someone and I have to be all inconvenienced like that just to do it? I think not.

No nice things for you, come back one year.

Please make it two weeks. I could strain myself while trying to make my house look presentable in a bit of a hurry.

I dont know if two weeks is a good idea then you might forget, so there will have to be some reminders in there too.

man what a joke

You know.. if this were real the plantiffs name should be in the legal system, part of public record... we could all send her mail telling her what we think of her :)

I think they should make "we are sorry" cookies and deliver them at 5:00 am. Just to show how sincere they are.
