Ive been planning on getting an rt mag and i was wondering how well they shoot in the cold. The owner of my local store said they dont run to well in the cold. I will be using nitro if i do get it so prove the guy at my local shop wrong

Well first of all, you CANNOT use Co2 on a RT Mag anyways. So just get yourself a nice adjustable air system and run it at 900 psi. The RT will rip like no tomorrow!!!! Prove that your local store is ignorant and doesn't know anything about 'Mags.

Have fun. :)

I was actually lying with my tank under the snow, and most of my gun burried with just my barrel sticking out... and i shot like it was still 80 degress outside.

Couldn't help you here. It's never cold in California!!! If you don't mind the communists, just move out here and you'll never have to worry. ;)

Goodluck

You will have NO problems shooting an RT in the cold. Classic valves running CO2 were the ones that had the problem. It's not the gun though, it's just the nature of CO2 itself. And as stated above, you can't run a rt or x-valve on CO2.
