I've found a new local rough sport in the pond. It's the N.L.L or National Lacrosse league. Pretty sweet game (first time I've seen much of it). Still getting used to the rules but it's filling the void somewhat of the hard hitting, fast paced, that hockey originally filled. Anyone else watching this stuff? :headbang:

yes, the NLL rocks, faster paced, and frankly more fun than a hockey game. i love hockey, but i love lacrosse that much better... hopefully the wings wont have a crap season this year.. GO WINGS!

A lot of NHL'ers have played lacrosse. Lacrosse, not hockey, is actually the national sport of Canada.

For anyone who wants to see men's lacrosse at its finest, the NCAA Div. 1 Lacrosse Finals are on ESPN every year, or you can go down to Univ. of Maryland and watch them.
