View Full Version : I'd kill myself if this ever happened

Well, actually I'd kill her, then myself.

http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZpokerQ2dkitty

I'd give up my scrotum, among other things, before I'd give up that GTO. That or run her down with it, then procede to run into a brick wall at 150mph just to die in the car.

After my good friend, a major in the marines, got taken to the cleaners (after getting served while on duty) now lives by the motto "Its cheaper to kill her." He said he'll do 20 to life before he ever goes through that again.

Um, find out where she lives. This situation needs to be remedied.

I have no sympathy for the guy if he actually did cheat on her.

She could get a LOT more money if she sold them practically anywhere other than Ebay...stupid.

Extra burn on her part, to sell them for cheaper than they could be going for though.

considering she doesn't know anything about cars she sure knows what's all on them. I'm gonna say something isn't right here.

It could very well be one of those ingenious sellers that makes up a funny/stupid story to get their auction more views and therefore more potential buyers. If it is, it's working! About 56 people have seen this thread alone, then multiply that by about 3, since that is how many people will see this thread before the auction closes, and then multiply that number by 10, since that could be how many forums/web sites it will get posted on. Thats about 1,600 people, but it could be way more or way less. Either way it's still a good advertising scheme.

Plus the GTO is a clone, I know that lowers the price. I dont know how much but it does.

well she does claim that this info was yielded to her through his lawyer, so maybe it is legit...

regardless, thats kind of a big ticket item to be buying from someone with one a total of 5 feedback.

#1. Look at "her garage". That's pretty obviously a starage unit.
#2. Even someone who knows nothing about cars would have the sense to have somone upraise the things and tell her exactly what she had.

She didn't seem amused by my offer to trade her GTO for a new and improved husband.

Not worth $40 K!?!?!?! They are, if not more... Have you done street rod performance parts shopping lately? I guess not... I do, however, concur that this may be BS...

But cars are not worth the sum total of there parts - if I recall at one point a Honda Accord, if you added up all the parts it took to build one, would have been slightly over a million dollars (no source.. just rumor that floated for a long while in the industry)

I understand that... I have a fair amount of experience in this market... Musclecars are extremely expensive lately... Parts are outrageously high... I wouldn't say that $40K is off the mark at all, most likely more...

You're talking 40k each!!! No way...even around here in Cali, REAL RACE CARS are going for $50-60k. I'm talkin parachutes and full tubs and so forth. I used to have a "racecar" too. Put rediculous amount of money in it, got back about 40% if that. Not flaming, just really don't think they're worth it. ;)

Maybe where you are they are more common, thus cheaper... I can see that... But here, easy $40K...

I had a car, but sold all but the engine... Looking for something new to put it in... It's a 540ci World Products Rat, 850 horse, naturally aspirtated, with a 250 horse nitro shot...

I'm really looking for a '66 Biscayne...

Almost 12k views for the GTO and a tad over 9k for the Corv.

Seems like the idea worked.

pffft I'd do the same thing if I were in her place. After I got out of jail for homicide.
