The Ion was better than I thought. For the price its great. The plastic outer shell feels cheap though.

Ahh, ok, so that was what was in CA this weekend. My uncle said my cousin was heading to CA for some paintball thing, and I couldn't figure out what it was.

She is one of the Smart Parks booth babes :shooting:

Umm, she's not married. She seems to always have a new BF.

That's her, and no, I still hate Smart Parts and tell her this ever time I see her:)

I love how their ads have no pics whatsoever of any of their products. Unless your cousin is named impulse.

Good golly Miss Molly! If that's the caliber of the new SP girls, I think I might buy a new ION myself!

HEck I'd buy a bunch of SP stuff if she came with it ;)

But I agree with the "what happened to you" remark...

I went Saturday, too. Nothing particularly excited me this time around.

The Ion felt a bit cheap, as you might expect. I didn't get to do more than fondle it, though.

AKA (iirc) had all of their markers bolted to a wooden board. What's the purpose of bringing something to an EXPO if folks can't pick them up and give them a bit of a feel?

Whats the story on those pistols?

The first one is from the original production. The pic with the feed tubes are the new versions. They are made from aluminium and have a replacable barrel. The guy said that they can get 30-35 shots per cartridge.

The new DesertDuck pistols use smart parts freak inserts, are said to have great efficientcy and a milled completely out of aluminum. But can be a bit on the pricy side.

I found out about the PAST expo while eating lunch at Hollywood Sports Park today. The owner had a special Sport Chalet day for us. I got to play for free with unlimited paint/air. I missed the whole expo and last years too. Who on AO is going to LA Open this year?

I'll be there at the LA Open (saturday) :)
