:D I need one of these, I just can't get completely comfy with my Z. Dang bottle in my way. But can I still use my warp set up with one of these?

luke
04-19-2005, 11:33 AM
Very good question, I don't know. :( ;)

What Warp bracket do you use?

A-Tach-One
04-19-2005, 11:37 AM
I believe it's one Bad Dog made. Got it from him.

luke
04-19-2005, 01:01 PM
Since it's not one of mine I can't check it. I guess about all you can do is use the picts I have posted to compare it to you bottle and regulator position.

A-Tach-One,

OK, I set this up with my "Rear Warp Bracket" and Off-Set rail on a Y-grip, all I had to do was switch my air gauge and micro line.

There is no guarantee it will work with your Z grip and your air system, but I think the chances are good. :ninja:

Thanks again Luke for the sweet parts. I've got Luke 45 panel grips, 15* ASA Extender, Offset rail, and Warp Mount. It's coming along pretty nice. Gunna finish hooking warp up today. Once again sweet gear and thanks.

Man that is absolutely sick!

How comfortable is it? It looks like it would “shoulder” nicely.

Man if the Z was more popular..... ;)

luke

Why arn't you running a Warp body??

A-Tach-One
04-23-2005, 01:09 PM
Thanks Luke. Well I just got the warp a month ago and didn't know if I would like it, since I have never owned one. So I didn't want to invest in something if I didn't like it. But I may get one soon, a red one. :D

luke

Once you get completely used to the Warp you can conceive of not playing without it. I have 2 set-ups dedicated to the Warp (Warp feed only), and I'm planning on converting my Micro 2000 to Warp feed only also.

So, if I was to get a warp body, is there a rail out there I wouldn't have to mod to get the body to fit? Or do you have to cut any rail? Thanks for the help.

luke
04-25-2005, 03:08 PM
You can just modify a stock rail. ;)

Hey Luke, I feel this is the first thing anyone should buy if they own a Z or Y frame! Greatest product ever for those frames, that's why I ordered another for a Y frame that I will be owning soon. It just makes it that much more comfy! Thanks

Man you almost sold me one of these. Only thing is it won't work well with my homemade emag because the tank gets tilted and I have a LPR screwed into one of the tank outputs. You have, however, inspired me to fab up one of my own. I used to run a slightly offset rail and let me tell you it's the sweetest thing with a warp and a ygrip.

bump!

Why dont you contact Proteam Products, I think they might have some bodies for micro mags still that have not been drilled for the feed port and you could do it to the side, if you wanted the left side wapr you would have to drill through the ball detent but you could always put an angel/automag detent on the other side and even one on the top as well if you wanted, check it out and you could keep you micro body and probably have the only one.

i dont have a z or y grip but i have a 114 cu tank.the damn thing is so big i almost wanna get rid of it because its not very comfortable on my emag.the thing is literally as wide as a 2 liter coke bottle.do you think you can do a mock up and see how much it owuld move to the left as opposed to a regular bottom line?i might be gettin one.

luke

I haven't had a tank that size for MANY years, so I can't do a mock up. But this is the part you need. :D

So you want a "female" dovetail cut on top here it would normally mount to the bottom of the grip frame?
