Why do people not like the twist lock barrell? I like them a lot, they are a lot more easy to deal with and faster to take out and put in.

because they are not cocker threaded, and no one makes them anymore. I personally think they are conveinent, as long as you have those little parts to come with them.

Exactly the reason tom made them like that. Quick and easy. I like them too! ;)

Do they make cocker to twist lock adapters?

I've seen them for sale on Doc's site. Not sure what his status is though.

i agree.

i like cocker barrels more, but the twist-n-lock is pretty cool.

i would also like cocker threaded barrels more if it didn't take 3 minutes to unscrew/srew the barrel

I think one of the driving forces was cost to make. Automag barrels tended to run $10 more & alot of people  d about that.

I liked them a lot to. For some reason i felt that they were more accurate since the ball dropped right in and when i use my freak for my automag and my emag(cocker screw in) i swear that the drop in one shoots straighter.

I was interested in one of the LapCo adapters - anyone had any experiences with them?

Twist lock was wonderful when you had a powerfeed plug you could turn off to remove the barrel. What would you do wtih centerfeed? Everytime you pulled the barrel out you would have to remember to make sure a ball did not fall in - I broke a lot of balls with twist locks on reassembly from my own stupidity, not having it is one less thing I can screw up.

While I like the twist-locks, isn't one of the big advantages for AGD changing to cocker threads that the breech tolerances are now under their control?

I seem to remmber reading somewhere about problems between bolts and after-market barrels.
