My stainless steel hose is scratching up the side of my mag, I was wondering if there is something I can use to wrap up the hose with (no black tape please). I like the stainless steel hose over micro and macro lines but the scratching is driving me nuts.

Thanks

Radio shack has a pacakge for a couple of bucks and it gives you a few different colors...bu the peices are only about 6 inches...

Good luck!

P.S> what are the major advantages...dissadvantages of Steel braided Vs. micro.

What is ,"Macro" line anyway?

Thanks

Macro Line is a plastic-polymer (I think) tubing which is easy to connect, disconnect and cut to any length. I use it on my Intimidator, and I love it. I've never had a Macroline "blow out" on me as of yet.

Squid sells it for cheap.

I've had macroline blow out on me at least 5 times on my automag but that is with me running it at around 1000psi. I have switched to braided ss when it blew the fitting out and cut my thumb pretty good. I've got a little scar from it.
