Mag body material?

I have an older powerfeed Mag and it looks like it's made from stainless steel. I was thinking about cutting a bit of the front off but i need to know if it's all stainless or if it might be just nickel plated?

they are all stainless as far as I know (on the old classics)

go at it with a pipe cutter for the best results!
