splatmaster. i have never played with it though. it lives a very happy retired life.

the first marker that i ever played with, and have since inheireted, was a Sheridan VM-68 MAGNUM. you want to talk about intimidation? that thing has a 14" solid, non ported barrel and when you're on the recieving end it sounds like a shotgun. :D it's as heavy as my pickup truck but i love it to death.

spyder shutter.
ok, so i get it for christmas on my like 10 birthday (im 16 now) and im happy, my dad got me a case and a couple 20 oz c02's and filled them both. i went out to my backyard and started shooting at my wall. the thing wont recock, so being a total newb, i just keep recocking it manually after every shot. ran about 2500 rounds thru it taht way with it chattering after each one. finally im out of paint...
ok so 3 years later, my cousin tells me he's going pbing and asks if i want to come, so im like yeah! and i grab my shutter. and it still has problems. so i go to my local shop to get a c02 fill, and on a hunch show the guy there my gun and ask if he can fix it. he takes an alan wrench and loosens only one screw on my reg, and suddenly the thing works. gr, now why didnt i ask before???
ok, so i use it and have fun, next time i go pbing i use it again, and the damn thing wont recock again! now im quite a bit more knowledgable about spyders(im like 14 at this point) so i check all the things i think may be wrong. everything seems right, i take it up to the front desk at the field and they cant fix it, they have no idea whats wrong. so whatever, they were nice and let me borrow a rental gun for the rest of the day, no charge.
i buy a spyder imagine within a week and thats it. great first gun huh? lasts 1 1/2 days of pbing and then breaks... sure i was a bit hard on it at the beginning, but i think even if each of the 2500 shots made the bolt go forward 5 times, the gun should last longer than 12500 shots before it has unexplainable problems. hm, maybe if i took my new hpa tank to it, it would fire... i wonder...
then again, it would probably be shooting around 400 fps at that point...

Red/Silver Spyder Shutter.

Eventually added a Boo-Yaah frame (brand new at time), a 16" boomstick (I was a newb), Shocktech quik strip bolt (not a bad idea for a bolt), and sold it for $425. (I was lucky cause 2 months later Boo-Yaah dropped their prices by half) :wow:

Well now that I think of it that was my 2nd gun. The first was a ICD Alley Cat (v1). That thing was a tank. No problems and no upgrades.

1) '98 Stock Spyder for me. Upgraded that until the only stock parts left were the springs and rear body plugs and then gave that to my brother.
2) '95 Cocker- rocked very hard, traded it for 3)
3) Spyder Imagine- put E-Frame on 1)
4) 68 Classic Mag
5) Custom-built Mini Cocker
6) '02 Black Magic- Put a bunch of my leftover Cocker parts on it

Right now, I have the Mag and the Mini Cocker and am in the process of selling the BM.

'rapid fire frame' *sniggers* :tard:

I had a pos electro spyder wanna be. It had a wobly bottom line, wobbly feed neck, heavy trigger(fixed that but it doesnt work any more... I wonder why...), plastic frame and the plainest milling youve ever seen. Those were the dark days...

Then I bought a pf left reverse valved minimag :D
