I remember when the Xmags were just coming out someone made a very nice photoshop file, so you could change the colors and stuff if you wanted. I was wondering if anyone on AO still has the file.

I think this is what you are talking about. The only problem is it isn't C+C and it doesn't have a ULE grip frame. Oh well, it is still sweet as hell.

Thanks guys, but the PSD file i'm looking for has all the parts selected n such. Many people used this to get ideas for there Xmags they wanted. Im surprised no one has this file. Ill continue my search through thousands of xmag threads to find it. ;)

After looking throught the AO database. Not just the regular search button ;)

I've found part of the original post but can't find download it.

well now you can stop pestering the regular photoshop monkeys on the board and find out for yourself ;)

i posted this in another thread, but it'll probably be of more use here. the link below points to a photoshop file of a C&C torn to pieces for recoloring in photoshop.

http://www.synreal.net/cnc_work_file.zip - it's about 4.4 megs, and 6.3 unzipped

tinker away :) there are layers for just about everything that you could want to play with (trigger, led screen, screws, grips, battery pack sections, fade and non-fade bodies, ...)

Here is the one I use...i just put together the "visualize the xmag" pics.

Just magic wand the blue layer, and change it to whatever color you want.

Crap...the file is too big...ill just save it as a jpg, and you can do the second layer yourself.

EDIT: Below is the second layer (just paste as new layer on original lighter colored xmag, and color whatever you want.)...also there's alittle pattern I whipped up.

Man, I know which file your talking about. I forgot if it was JAM or that other guy, Synreal, who posted the file.

You may try reaching JAM to see if it was him.
