I'm curious as well. I just recently bought another emag, and while dryfiring it, half of the foamie ripped out! I have to scrape off the other half just to put a new one on... and that factory glue is STRONG.

don't know about the glue but this stuff called Goo-Gone removes most sticky substances pretty well.

another thing that works is silicone caulk. it must be the true silicone stuff. not the silicone latex mix.

I use Epoxy. It works forever. ;)

It does not matter what glue you use if you do not clean the it really well first. If its very clean, super glue works just fine. Not clean enough and you are in for trouble. :nono:

Also it is VERY IMPORTANT to clean the foamie too, it may have oil or other contamiantion from the molding process left on it (I think its called a mold realease agent). Simple dish soap and hot water with leave the surface clean, a little wipe with alcohol to get it nice and dry, and its ready to go. :D

Scrape to clean the bolt face, wipe with isopropanol to remove oil and your favorite high strength adhesive. I use insta-cure super thin, it's an extremely fast cure and real easy to glue your fingers together if you're not careful.
