Well I'll start off by saying that is was a rather nice day today. The rain stopped by the afternoon and it turned out awesome. Got to see quite a bit of action and met some celebrities.

Started my day at the vendor booths. Not much new or exciting to see. So I didn't snap any pictures.

Went and sat down and watched some celebrity games. I got to watch the Malcom in the Middle team play some good ball throughout a couple games. (forgot to take pics of the games) :cuss:

Walked around the beach checking out the action on the JT, Spyder and Angel fields. When on the Spyder field I witnessed one of those bunkering moves that you practice or set up for camera shots. Unfortunatly I wasn't ready for it as the rest of the game was kind of boring. Anyways back to the bunker part. It took place at the snake and one guy saw one of his guys get blasted in the snake by the other team. So he goes to the outside of the snake (inner part of the field) and jumps over that area the guy was sitting at and pops the guy twice while landing clean. I couldn't believe it.

Most of the games were fun to watch but this years HB event didn't strike me to hard as fun and exciting. So during a small lunch break we (me and my fiance) went to BJ's Pizza and Brewery just up a few steps off the beach. When we came out there was "Duey" and "Reese" from Malcom in the Middle sitting there in full Empire gear talking to each other about the games. My fiance says good game and they both say thanks. "Duey" sounds just like the show it was so funny. Before I could get a picture with them, they wisked away into the restaraunt. *bummer*

Went back and watched some more ballin and took a few pics. Enjoy.

see if you can stop by the national/ bob long booth, i hear that they have a nonworking prototype of the new infamous team maker (like an 05 timmy, but a rumored 2 in shorter/all around smaller) i hear they are going crazy on people who try and snag pics, but, mabey you could go ninja style and try to get one. I found a pic of a poster of it, looks....iffy, anyway- here it is-

I met members of AGD Pride/Omega. They stopped me as I was walking out of the Angel tent because I was wearing their jersey.

In this pic is Allen, Tim, (sorry I forgot your name), & Timmy.

I tried the Paintball Caddy contest to see how fast I could fill pods. My time was 8.7 seconds which held out for about half the day. When I came back I got beat and couldn't get a faster time; the paint was getting old and wouldn't pour fast enough.

I didn't see Clare this year, maybe she was hiding from me...

bah.. screw JT pants. All JT stuff i ever owned fell apart (soft goods that is - masks b fine). I had a pair of 03, and 04 pants, and they both started coming apart. Get something else with stronger Knee areas. Dye, or Smokin or something.

was there any word asto the dynasty nerve?? I heard 10000000 times it was coming out at HB but have yet to hear or see anything about it so im guessing it didnt show

Smart Parts does not attend any NPPL events. So there was no way for it to be released at HB.

I think this is going to be my next marker. I just picked up an Infamous board for my Alias. Think the days of the Alias and Viking are numberd.

Also saw that damn G7. Think the 05 Speed is going to be sold too.

High Tech Sypder is all it is. Not much improvment since it's still a Stacked Tube - Blowback Semi-Auto. Consistent, yes but same design as a Spyder.

But isn't that what paintball comes down to now days. Consistancy at high ROF? Who cares if Bob started his marker line as modified spyder bodies. They are what they are. Vikings, Timmies, Angels etc.. all basically do the same thing. Stack tube, triple stack who cares they all have a LPR, leading to a Ram hitting a valve.

that is quite an ignorant statement, a high tech spyder? ok... lets open em both up, and see what similarities they really share. you will be surprised, as tohow little the 2 are actually alike

Compared to last year, competition was much better and much more exciting. I liked the fact that the pro team only played each other and all their games were played on two fields right next to each other from 1:30pm to 8pm on Saturday. One non-pro team that impressed the hell out of me were Fat Lady Charms. These chicks can straight out play ball. I was watching FLC Christine on one end of the snake getting hammered by an opposing opponent on the other side of the snake until you heard his gun shooting nothing but air. In that split second Christine jumped up and bunkered him and two of his teammates. Very excitiing indeed.

I was dissapointed with the vendors this year. I was planning on buying some 04 Empire pants but the Empire tent did not have any to sell which sucked. Also I could not find any discouts anywhere. Everyone were selling their products at regular price. Last year i bought a brand new Halo-B w/ ripdrive for $105 from National Paintball. This year they were selling the same halo for $120!!! Nevertheless...Dye, Emprire, and National had a good tent setup with a lot of displayed products for people to buy. The showcase for WGP, JT, and Eclipse was not as good. And now the pics......

what a noob. Its not even blowback semi auto, its an electropneumatic marker w/ a hammer/ram and an LPR and solenoid.

That is the most unintelligable comment ive heard in a while

The FLC are great! It's too bad that they don't think they'll be coming back to the US for a while. We went out to Hollywood Sports yesterday and ran drills all day and just had a good time.

Those two markers in the "??" look like the factory Freestyle Pros at ICD. The red one has our REAL carbon fiber panels on it. :)

The marker is a solenoid controlled open-bolt design, very similar to the popular open-bolt blowback design found in Spyders.

its not that similar to the spyder blowback design. It is similar to almost if not all high end electros that are open bolt. Similar to my viking, similar to an angel, etc. I dont hear ppl saying that angels and vikings are expensive spyder blowbacks.

And yes, that kind of comment is noobish whether you like it or not.

Im not defending timmys cause I like them, because Im not much of a timmy guy, but that information you posted proves youre wrong. Therefore, I appreciate you pointing out your own error by posting that animation of how timmys work.
