I have an almost brand new Automag ULE custom with a level 10 bolt with an X valve. I have had some problem getting my gun to work from the start and right now whenever I air it up air leaks out of the front of the bolt very very quickly. I believe I have a 1.0 size brass fitting in the bolt and there is one washer in front of it. It is also very well oiled. Any suggestions to fix this problem would be very much appreciated.

Move down to the .5 size carrier. Oil the carrier oring too.

Remove the shim first. Always setup the level 10 without any shims. Then once you get it working without leaks you can add shims to change the point at which it vents and resets.

I dropped down to a .5 and removed all the shims. However, it still leaks through the bolt rapidly although it will shoot. When I dropped down to a 0 the air simply leaked out of the bolt when the trigger wasn't pulled and the gun refused to shoot. Any suggestions on what to do?

I actually just put a 1.5 in and the gun shoots very well yet still continues to let some air leak through the bolt. Any suggestions on how to fix air leaking through the bolt?

Your carrier o-ring may be bad. Tht would cause you to need a carrier that is too tight. Try replacing the o-ring and resize the carrier with it.
