Congratulations Tom,

AGD just got another patent granted. Looks like an inline warpfeed. Very interesting. :)

It takes an IP (intellectual property) lawyer. There is no other reasonable way to get it done. Expensive when done correctly.

here are some highlights

feeds at 26 ball per sec

it could have a lcd for all the std stuff

it could go into a back pack

well that is just a couple of the best.

Wouldn't it be a little front heavy and hinder snap shooting with all that weight in the front?

That, and the fact that it would heavly block your aiming view.

But, other than those two things, I like it. I'm hoping there will be an on-top version like this:

That thing looks nice!

But I don't think it is to practical.
It would throw the whole balance of.
And it looks bad!
You's probably have to modify other guns to take averything.

But its an excellent idea!:D

This patent was just to plug another hole in the dyke. We are not planning on producing this one any time soon.

You wont be able to get a patent on that bro. Tippmann already has a patent on a hopper thats way too close to what you want to do. I think I have explained it before, but Ill say it again.

the original hopper was fo hte Tippmann F/A (full auto all mechanical gun, co2 powered with a spring driven bolt system to make it full auto). It looked liek a small coffee can, with a star shaped cog in the bottom (liek the one in the warp that grabs balls and shoves them up the hose) It sat in the bottom of this can, and was driven by a spring also. A few motnhs ago, Deniss Tippmann showed up at his hoem feild with a new prototype of the old hopper. This one was powered by blowback gas of a M98. A small hole was drilled into the M98's valve port, liek an RT Trigger is installed, but hte hose ran forward on the gun to a piston (looked like a cocker arm). Every time hte gun was fired, when the powertube traveled back, the blowback gas normally just exits the gun, but in this case it pushed hte piston, turnign the star shaped thingy 1 balls length, pushing 1 ball down hte elbow.

So as you can see, that is awful close to what you propose. If you make it run off a line from the tank itself (liek a M203 is powered) and it looks more liek a warp than a hopper, it might get by.. but its awful close.

Still a good idea.

(Note about last post: I have very hard times getting by the moderators for some reason.)

With all due respect Vegeta are you a patent attorney or an authority on patents?

You would be amazed at what you can patent even if it is extremely similiar to something else. You just need to show an innovative step. It doesn't have to be completely different. It just has to be innovative step 'forwards'.

It doesn't even have to work, and you don't even need to have made a prototype.

It even seems like the US Patent Office is prepared to let almost identical things get patented and then leave it to the courts to decide AFTER grant...

I Like to play around with ideas :)

This, to me, would seem to work better, for the balls would feed easier, and move around that corner better.

Yea manike- your right. I just like making myself look smart by talking about all that stuff :).

Why don't you just integrate a warpfeed into a hopper instead? I think the belt feed would be less effective... Once you stop shooting the whole belt will have to stop within about 1/4 seconds to keep from breaking a ball...
