View Full Version : Quick Disconnect With Macroline?

Is it possible to use a QD with macro?
I've got a macro set up right now with QD, it's old (works great) but it's not very aesthetic looking. I like that I can QD my valve from the rest of my gun, and it looks that with the newer macro and fittings (like Tunaman's) I'm going to have to do a lot more work to get my valve out.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have been looking for something similar myself, but to no avail....

if anyone finds a source of QD macroline fittings, I think they will be onto a winner!

Thats silly. Macro IS a type of quick disconnect. You can add a standard QD by using a straight macro fitting and a QD.

you pull back on the collar and pull the hose out. no need for a QD.

most of my macro lines really dig in tight....

I could do the straight connector thing, but it looks fugly ;)

straight and elbowed fittings have it... at least mine do. I hosed up an IR3 in under a minute yesterday

I had a QD on my macroline. I liked it and it protected my macro line from getting damaged by a lot of removal an insertion.
