WASHINGTON - A 70-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus rex fossil dug out of a hunk of sandstone has yielded soft tissue, including blood vessels and perhaps even whole cells, U.S. researchers reported on Thursday.

Paging Tom to thread #170963

This is awesome. Seems to me that if happened in Washington, then it could be possible for it to happen in places with a similar climate and gelogic makeup. Any thoughts?

I'll tell you right now, I want a pony-sized T. Rex that I can ride. That would be the sweetness, right there.

So I guess now we wont need to use sex changing frog DNA to make full copied of the T-Rex ... :)

How is it they had people smart enough to clone dinosaurs, but not a single damn one of them read enough about that frog to know that it changes sex over its life span :) ... serious RTFA time there people.

most frogs dont change gender, but the ones from jurassic park did because it was a movie. And it needed a problem... and that problem happened to be the random switching of frog-gene-sex from female to male. Then they bred and ate the lawyer.

I was watching some dinosaur show on the discovery channel (<--haha) And it crushed my childhood dreams. Apparently the trex couldn't run fast, because it would fall and couldn't get up, because his arms were to petty. And they weren't attackers, they were scavengers...
That is what the disc channel said anyway

Itd look kinda like yoshi, but not so qute or multi colored. More like the yoshi from the mario brothers movie with the real people acting.
