Alien innovation continues in the world of double-stacked electro pneumatic markers. Our patent pending “Structurally Independent Ram Housing” yields a smaller, lighter, tighter design.

Interceptor is also the easiest marker to tech and trouble shoot. Disassembled into the three main pieces: the receiver body, the Structurally Independent Ram Housing” and the trigger frame you can still turn on the air and power it up! The ram and hammer still operate – watch out it will jump a bit. The pin valve is visible, as is the airline from the LPR to the ram. Those slow unknown leaks are not possible with the Interceptor. Long torturous airways milled into the body that get clogged are gone because the solenoid attaches directly to the ram housing. Interceptor eliminates the need for multiple hoses. Hoses that can get blown off, cut or crimped.

The Sweet Tough Trigger frame wraps around the solenoid and ram housing perfectly. The WAS powered board fits easily the grip. A grip that feels great to all size hands. Narrow for the smaller hands, open trigger guard for bigger hands and made for easy firing whither you’ve got to make that one shot count or if you’re laying down a rope of balls.

Additionally our Patent Pending “Sweep Valve and Sweep Bolt” adds a highly effective flow of air to deliver your shot ball on ball time after time. Low pressure and extremely consistent the set and forget regs let you play instead of fuss with your marker.

A notably trim, narrow and light design, the Interceptor is accurate, consistent and very fast. A winning marker to bring out the winner in you, because “Winning is more fun!”

Looks better than the monarch and sounds good, but still alittle ugly in my eyes.

wow, despite the bs alien paintball is filled with, this looks like great innovation on the stacked tube electro. if its priced well t might just be a good seller. its still ugly though

Awesome to see a production gun from Alien after seeing proof of concept quite a long time ago. Looks interesting to say the least.

It looks like a plain freestyle...nice with (i bet) alot of milling options.

man the balance of the Alien looks like it might be extremely back heavy. gofugly (Guam thing) think fugly to the 10th power.

The Interceptor looks like a BKO body on a freestyle frame.

i give props to him for FINALLY finishing it

but as far as looks im not interested.

hes made some OUTRAGEOUS promises as to this gun that i can pretty much gurantee this thing is no better than anything else out now..

just another electro in my opinion.

I've always really liked all the alien guns. I think this one would be better if it were a 45 frame and got new eye covers. It also looks really light, but it seems to operate just like a bushy.

I remember following his original thread on PBN. Looks good imo.

whats the deal with guns with exposed moving parts? It seem like every new hot gun otehr than the Ion as of recent, has an exposed bolt.

Well, most stacked blowbacks have an exposed bolt/ bolt pin for easy bolt removal.

Carbon

true. But, i like smart parts's nerve concept of a completely encased bolt, it too is a stacked tube. Yeah you have the Alien timmy, but cmon, that thing is fugly.

I wonder how he made the bolt to affect accuracy

I see no innovatin here, just a big 'me too'.

I prefer to have guns that have exposed moving parts, I just like to see it go back and forth, I've actually been shot out once or twice because I was just staring at the bolt moving. If they're gonna put a 90 frame or something close to a 90, they should use different grips than 45 grips. They should really lower the price down alot too, with the 05 bushy coming out at about $500 people will be buying that instead of this.

some of the pics show the custom 90 degree grip panels that i assume are meant to go on it.

oh, ha, I see that now, I wasnt paying attention to the grips in those pictures. But it looks much better with those grips.

How about a new design instead of the same old gun. I love how they say how crappy exposed hoses internally are, but from what I can see in that pic, they have exposed hoses that aren't milled into the body.

Basically I'm paying 750-900 for a basic electro stack tube, ugly eye covers, horrible trigger, 45 grips on a 90* frame, a was board that can't be set to ramp for psp events. I got to get one

Have you had a chance to handle one? If you haven't I don't think it is appropriate for you to comment on it.

And if you ask me, for that price, I think it has some potential. Thats assuming its well made and works properly.

How many times will people be resold Bushmasters and Impulses?

That's a really neat way to mount the PCB.

I'd rather have a B2K5 for about half the price. When I look at this one, I see BKO rather than Freestyle.

   Uglyiest gun I've ever seen. Ever.
Again I would take a b2k5 over this anytime. Ewww.

Original Freestyle+Mac Dev Cyborg=that fugly thing. I still wouldn't mind trying one out. But i doubt i'd buy one.

interesting, based on the geometry of the hopper placement, grip and fore grip it looks rather comfy. Anyhow, i do think the eye covers look silly tho.

I think it's a shame that they've got so many good ideas and NO astetic design skills.

It looks terrible IMHO. Huge teardrop shaped eye covers? What's with the trigger? Don't they know that it can't look too much like a cheap blowback and still sell?

I love that access to the hammer assembly and other ideas but damm!

Are they ever going to RELEASE a gun? I've seen the pictures, heard the talk for so long that it seems they will never come on the market.

Does it really matter? I never said anything about preformence except for the was board that it can't be set to legal psp ramp modes. Which is 100% true because Jim Drew said he won't release a ramping board. The eye covers are ugly, so is the trigger, and the grips dont make much sense, that is 100% my opinion that I can say without seeing the gun.

I am definitely seeing exposed hoses also, wait, I thought those get "blown off, cut or crimped."

This gun in my opinion will be one of those things, it will release halfway decent, then get few sales and fade into the worthlessness.

i think the tramp is right, there is a lot in innovation put into this gun, just maybe they should go through design school or something...but it doesn't look as bad as the revelation...crud, there's no smilies for throwing up, but i guess this is as close as i'm gonna get. :tard:

Where are the hoses exposed do you mean this pic?
http://www.alienog.com/albums/Monarch-Photos/interceptor_015_small.jpg
If so then that is the gauge not a hose.

I agree the eye covers are interesting but you should have seen the prototype marker...I did in raw finish and nothing really lined up...this is a huge leap forward. The trigger is ok actually just not what you are used to that's all. As far as the legality of the WAS board well look who started all the crap in the beginning and now he produces a board that can't be used in the majority of tournaments (now, due to the new rules) but in the senario market all bets are off and there is more money in that market than tournaments.

I shot one of these guns at Commander's Cup San Diego, and I must say... it was a POS. The gun chopped while I was test firing it at the Alien booth and it felt very cheaply made. Now I know that it wasn't a production model, but I wasn't impressed at all.
