We found a Nintendo in my friend's basement, with a bunch of classic games Mario, Duckhunt, even some TMNT. Alas we have no power cord.

So does anyone know where I could get a power cord that would fit the Original Nintendo, preferably an actual store IE radioshack.

I am not sure if EB games is only canadian, but there chain of stores has quite a few old classic stuff, from sega genesis, to atari...Try them, if not that, just go to some local game stores and ask. I love my nintendo :bounce:

I tried the local EB, but to no avail. There is another one I might try though.

Well, you can spend a week looking for a store that has it...or buy it online and get it in a week anyways. ;)

Do you have a local Gamestop? If all else fails, there's a ton on Ebay! Cheap too!

Or find out what is the required voltage and buy one of those universal power adapters with multiple attachments from Radio Shack.

dude, for your MUST HAVE game selection on original NES, besides, the Marios, Contras, Zeldas, TMNT, etc......you have to pick up a copy of 'Super Dodgeball'. This is probably one of the best multiplayer games ever created, its pure crack rock. Theres always some on ebay, its well worth it. :headbang:

ahhh, I just happen to have an extra one(or at least i did) left over at my parents house. I'll stop by tomorrow and see if I can snag it up for ya. It's your for free. You wouldn't happen to have the super scope 6 IR reciever for SNES would you. :D Lost mine quite a few years ago.

RC pro AM is a great game too. I always liked Blades of Steel alot. Contra was the best though. I think I still remember the 30 lives cheat. I believe it was: up, up down, down left right left right A,B select, start.
