this is strange, but i'd rather listen to this than any rap out there, and i hate both of them.

LOL

One of the guys is Rich from Big & Rich. I thought of country rap when I heard "save a horse", this is just a natural progression.

If you want real country rap, listen to "I'm a cowboy" by Smokin' Armidillos on their "Out of the burrow" CD. The song is about 7 years old, and actually started the trend, and is by far worse than Cowboy Troy's.

I remember a group a few years ago called Nappy Roots or something that was sorta country rappish.

I just heard the "Ride a Cowboy" song the other day...I thought it wasn't too bad. It really doesn't sound like country (except for the banjos)
The video is cool--TONS OF HOT CHICKS!!
And the fact that they have a rap in the middle of the song is funny.

Hmmm, Country + Rap = Crap?

This Big Rich group and their whole stupid clan continue to beat the dead horse of what used to be a decent music genre.

I'm a sad sad person... I like that kinda stuff. I listen to just about anything. I just find it funny, I liked that song 2 weeks ago when i heard it on the radio. Made me laugh, because it was so odd. But I'm a hick at heart. If you go to Shatner, I'll prolly be pulling up blazin nwer-country.

Hmmmm......

I think its cool when different styles mix........but not like that. Country musicians need to focus on collaborations instead of trying to do the rap thing themselves. It just doesn't work.

I just hope that MTV and Canadians will think this it the new "in" thing so they can quit ruining punk.
