If not set correctly, they could cause short stroking which would put more wear on the sear and bolt. I believe this is what they mean.

i use one on my logic frame,but dont adjust it to close, you need some slop in a mags trigger.

They can mess up the sear, happened to me, my sear got all chipped up and the bolt wouldn't catch at high rof.

It's the same reason you shouldn't play with the length of the trigger rod.

Some slack MUST be left otherwise you risk not holding the sear open long enough and/or not letting the sear move up fully engage the bolt.

How much is some slack? A few millimeters of play?

the sear comes back up faster, or not down enough, then the bolt does have time to go back in place and the bolt has to push down the sear which chips the bolt and sear

look at an animation if your confused
