So the shuttle is preping for launch and they have this on CNN about ...

A crack was found today in the space shuttle Discovery's external fuel tank as NASA prepared to move the shuttle to the launch pad. But after an inspection, NASA TV reported engineers determined the crack was a "minor imperfection" and gave a "go" for rollout. Discovery's huge trawler is now inching toward the pad, some four miles away.

Now I dont know about you ... but I think I would be a little nervous ....

Haha, yea.... but really though, they wouldn't risk it if anyhting could possibily go wrong. If it possed even the smallest risk, they'd go and fix it. We don't want another spaceship blowing up or anything.

part of exploration, especially in space, lies an inherent danger..I mean, it's the most hostile environment anywhere.... they won't let it lift off if the crack was significant but people gotta realize that the columbia incident was an accident. move on.

As long as they didn't stick a piece of bubble gum on it and yell "To the moon Alice!"
