I might be getting a chevy cavalier from some people in Minnesota. Does anyone know if the stick(it's manual) on the cavaliers are on the floor or are they mounted on the steering column. I believe it's from the mid 90's but I'm not entirely sure about that. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

They havn't put a manual shifter on a standard production car on the column since ???? While it's been a long time, it will be on the floor.

That's what I thought but someone was telling me otherwise. That's why you shouldn't listen to people who don't know what they're talking about. Thanks

Discontinued...
Enter the Cobalt: available with a supercharger - me, I personally think GM should have built a good four cylinder, or revived one from the past, before putting a supercharger on it... then again, what do I care, I foresee the supercharged cobalts sold to teens and twenty somethings making me a lot of money :D

I just bought an 05' cavalier ...its a manual and the stick is on the floor :) I love my car....for a little 4 cylinder is has a lot of *** behind it. I have no trouble spining the tires when necessary. I'll never beat a 6 cylinder of the line. I mean it only has 140 hp. But, its a cute little car and fits my needs perfectly. Im glad to be a 20 something that has made someone some money by buying it :)!
