Got a used mag that needed a new sear assembly, I just got one and I'm trying to set it up. Anybody know a easy rule of thumb for setting the rod length?

If you don't have a set of calipers, just make sure you a small gap between the back of the trigger and the end of the trigger rod when the gun is aired up. The gap is necessary in order for the on/off pin to operate properly….

yes, you need at least 1/16" between the trigger and the end of the trigger rod. I would go for closer to 1/8" if you're having to eyeball it.
