Well, i am really excited to have just gotten my first mag, and its an XMag. I would like to know if i can buy a wall charger for it, because it only came with a car charger. Anyone have the info on what i would need exactly, and where it is availiable?

Also, anything else i should know about these things before i start ripping on it? I just got it a few hours ago and dont have any air to test it out, plus no ride to the shop.

Thanks in advance for any help,
-Nick

congrats on the new X-mag man, very nice gun you will be happy with it. I own one myself and I love it. I believe you can get a wall charge at radioshaq not sure how well it will work though. The battery stays charged for along time though so I'm not sure if I wall charger would be necessary.

Oh and btw Welcome to AO

Radio shack 273-1779...and you need the "M" tip too. Dont mix up the polarity when installing the tip or it will blow the emag charger as soon as you plug it in. :D ;)

Thanks guys, ill look into that. Is there anything else i should know about this before i start messing with stuff? If i take out the valve, will anything fly out or will the level 10 get out of whack? Im still not sure exactly how to adjust stuff, except the board settings and velocity.

Thanks again,
-Nick

the mag is a very simple easy gun to maintain. When pulling out the valve just unscrew the field strip screw on the bottom and hold the back of the valve (there is a minor spring pressure on it) and pull it out. Just make sure the marker is degassed completely because the lvl10 stores some air and could cause the on/off assembly to shoot out (it has happened and nailed people in the face). No it will not throw the lvl10 out of wack as long as you keep the on/off oiled the bolt stem and a few drops in the bolt stem and some around the bolt and a few in the asa you should be good to go.

I got a model 273-1776 from Radio Shack. It plugs into the wall and has a long cord with a receptacle at the end. It comes with a free Adaptaplug. That's a 90 degree adapter with two prongs on one end that plugs into the wall charger's receptacle, and the other end pulgs into the AGD charger. You'll want the "M" style Adaptaplug, it's got an "M" stamped on it. Then, insert the Adaptaplug so that the "+" on the Adaptaplug lines up with "TIP" that's stamped on the receptacle.
