Just wondering, how much money do you shell out for a day of playing at your local field? Include everything such as field fee, paint, air, etc. And let's assume your out there for at least a few hours of playing.

I pay $15 for field with all day air anf $40-$45 on case of paint. I use about 1/2 a case per day, so it changes each time I go.

A day at TAG i'll go through 2 cases, same goes for american canyon.

For the people that only shoot a case or less, how long are you playing for? and what type of gun are you using?

paint online a case $34
field fee $10
carry on paint fee $15

I shoot a case a day. I play from 9-4ish. I use a proto matrix. It all balances out because some games I will shoot 30 balls, and some games I will shoot 2-3 pods. I never usually shot more then 2-3 pods.

Let's see, last time I played, $0 Field Fee (played in the woods), one 9oz fill from my 20lb bulk tank, oh about $.50, and 250 rounds through the pump gun all day, including chrono and shooting at trees, so $7.00 there. OK, $7.50 total. The gas to get there was probably more expensive!

At a field

$25 field fee
$10 all day air
$32 1 case of paint
Doesn't include the gas for a 2 hour drive :wow:

In the woods

$15 half case a paint
$3 for 20 CO2 (will be $6 for CA if I want to use my mag.)

Duzzy
04-20-2005, 12:02 AM
$10 Feild Fee
$15 Paint
$5 Air

I never shoot more than 500 rounds a day, even when using an Automag. When I play with my Phantom I generally use the same 500 rounds all month, sometimes into the next month... And that is playing 5 or 6 hours each time. So in reality only using my Phantom I could probably play 8 times a month for about $120. Man I love my Phantom.

$5 for entry fee and all day air $75 for one case so $80 total. I use an e-mag and play for 3 -5 hours.

conversekidz, what do you run and how long do you play?

ApexAZ
04-20-2005, 10:31 AM
I use an ULE mag and I spend roughly $75 each time I play.
$15 field fee
$10 All Day Air
$50 Paint

hobbesTZ
04-20-2005, 10:37 AM
OSG = $15 field fee, $35 for 1,000 Blaze if I have someone to split a case with. Unless you spend $12 for all day air you pay for each fill.

Owens - $15 field fee, $10 all day N2, BYOP. However, almost all the people that go there use fast high end guns which means you're shooting more paint than you may want, so it ends up being just as or almost as expensive as the first one I listed, and it's not anywhere near as nice.

I need more people to play woodsball with

Bought $150 season pass from the field I go to, Splat Tag.
It includes :
-No entry fee anytime you go, unless its one of the giant big games they have twice a year.
-Free air
-You can bring your own paint without having to pay a byop fee
-discounts on their field paint, which is normally $65/case, but is discounted to $50/case. (it's your average RPS paint, which is still decent, but sometimes i'll bring a good marbilizer)

The field is close to home, about 25 minutes away, so not very much for gas.
I guess about $50-$60 depending on how much I spend on food and drinks for the day, but then again I dropped $150 on the season pass, but that pays for itself if you go 2-3 times a month. Good deal, all in all.

This summer, though, I'm buying a season pass -- 10 visits for $100. Plus ordering practice paint online, X-Ball silver, $35/case.

Me and my friend get a case of marbs and split so thats about $32.50 for my half then its $20 for admission and $10 for all day air. So $62.50 but I bring 70 for lunch at the field.

I just hope I can stay at about half case a day, im getting more and more closer to running out at the end of the day.

To the question asked, the most I ever spent in one day was $140 at Challenge Park Extreme, with $130 at Paintball Blitz taking a close second. Thank GOD for Badlandz.

$45 for a case of paint and field fee as well as for a field for my team (no one else) and all day air.

We usually practice for about... four hours. Can't beat an airball field in the winter indoors for that price with unlimited play.

undescriptive
04-22-2005, 03:32 AM
Here, I pay...

£10 Green Fee (Includes Air if it's a walkon or onnly CO2 if it's a punter day)
£35-40 a case (of fuego or RPS)
£6 Gas to get there (30 miles ish)
BBQ lunch is a freebee

I usually play 6-8 games and shoot a full case with my Xmag/Angel/ULE/Pirhana Evo/Classic

I DO run out of paint (the fields are quite open and on a walkon there is usually 30-40 people on the smaller fields) usually due to the insane bridge field and the Attack and defend on the "Tomb"

I know I have to re-gas after every game - especially if I have shot close to 1k rounds

so that works out @ about $80USD or so...

Enemy
04-22-2005, 03:39 AM
if i go to my the field i work at its like 12.50 cuz i only have time to shoot 500 off and no field fee!! at practice its about 40 and i limit myself to only 1 case of paint!!

When I use my Phantom -

$25 max... and I mean MAX.

$10 field fee, $5 worth of 12-grams (if there's no free air - if there is I'll use my 4 oz.) and I'll buy 200 rounds off someone for $10 if the field doesn't sell less than 500 at a time. I always have lots of paint left over too.

If using the 'mag, I'll shoot 500-750 in a day plus whatever they charge for HPA fills. I can make it on a single 500 bag if I stretch it a little. Maybe $35 to $45.

You want it to cost less, don't spend time at the target range. I see these 'timmy tots' trying to see who can shoot the fastest burning up almost $1 of paint a second. I can set my marker correctly with two or three shots then put three over the chrono and be done. No need to waste paint on the range...
