I have been looking at pod packs. My old redz 2 pod pack pouch aint cutting it anymore.
I need at least a 5 pod pack. I have looked at Redz, NXE, joey, and mantis. I need your opinions on which pod pack to get.

NXE all the way. yes i have one. becuase of the elastic over the pod, you dont have to fight with getting the pod out, it pushes it out :headbang: :shooting: :ninja: . I love my pack. its great

i won an extreme rage 3+2+2 pack this year, its very nice, can use in any situation (carry 3-7 pods, depending on what you need), very adjustable, stays on nice, i like it.

I like Redz. I feel the price is reasonable for what you get.

I also like Dye packs, but admit that for me they are a bit over priced.

Personally I use an APP 4+1 since I use a remote, and I LOVE it.

Well, once again I'll reccommend the CIRCLE ejection harness. check it out at www.circlepaintball.com I own one and its uber comfortable, gives great back suport, and, much like other high end harnesses, pushes the pods out, rather than you having to mess around pulling them. Of course, In the world of higher end pod packs, I really do think its just a company preference thing.

I am selling a Dye 4+ attack pack, and a 3a 5+ pack. Check out my BST HERE (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=170987) if you are interested...

Otherwise, If you are buying new -- can't go wrong with the nXe -- I have an *ahem* somewhat ample frame, and the nXe fits me like a glove. Most comfortable pack I have ever used.

I have 2 Redz packs(3.2 and 4.3) I love my Redz packs, and I don't really need another, but I have been thinking of trying out the NXe one, the ones I have seen and tried on are very nice. Everyone that has one has said nothing but good things about them.

I'm still a fan of the Redz Dimension packs, a 5.5 wouldn't be a bad purchase if you have a Dimension belt already.

all I have to say is EXTREME RAGE...cheap, durable, 5+4 pack is awesome, fits nice, really adjustable, and has the always awesome elastic on the top that makes your pods come out even easier but keeps them in place when not needed. These packs are very compfy too! Go try out out at your local shop if possible.

I use NXE and the rest of my teammates use Dye C5 packs. They're both great, but I don't think the DYE is worth the $60 extra that they costed. The dye seems to cover/protect the pods better, but the NXE sticks to your waist better. Never used a redz pack, but they're good as well. I'd suggest the NXE personally.

my team is sponsored by www.synusa.com When I heard we were sponsored by them I wasn't really that happy because I loved my mantis harness. After using my syn for about 4 months, I love this thing. Better then my mantis and ER pack, pods come out super easy and it stays tight.

I'm in the same situation, but I'm thinking of picking up an NXe pack... my redz belt is showing some wear and I believe it's an XL or otherwise huge size (I wear a size 32). A new belt will cost ~$30 ... or I can get an entirely new pack for $10-15 more...

The Syn pack looks nice, but more expensive and I'm not quite sure what I'd use the pouch for (though it is a nice feature).

I like my JT Speed Harness w/Speed Pods--very easy to use. You probably can't get them anymore though. I don't think that they sold too well. Oh well, I like mine! :headbang:

Seriously buy a NXe pack. They eject the pods into your hands and they never slide.

My teammate has c5 pants, and he has the ability to wear his NXe pack around his butt without the pack moving at all.

I have a Unique 4.3 harness and i'll be damned if it isn't one of the nicer harnesses I've used. I wouldn't mind picking up one of the new Dye c5 harnesses though.

I've been using an Extreme Rage 3+2 for FIVE YEARS. It's still holding up, and if anything, I may just upgrade to a 5+4. But I wouldn't change brands, they're durable, they have an elastic holster that shoots the pods into your hand, and they have a great velcro setup that keeps the harness on TIGHT, without you ever having to worry about slippage.
