Curious, what kind of barrels do other people use on thier mags? I have an SP freak that i was using on my cocker, but i dont think it performs as nicely on the automag. So speak freely, tell me what kind of barrel you use and why. thx

I've only had my mag 2 weeks and used it twice but I really like the freak on it.

CP 1 piece in .689 as my main barrel, dirt cheap and shoots well.
CP 2 piece in .685, .682 and .693 to cover the rest.

I like the 2 piece and 1 piece design more then inserts because of the smooth and gradual curve from the breach size to the bore size in the barrel, it makes me feel better and it feels smooth  .

Other then that I like my stainless steel lapco because I can use it as a 5 lb clubbing stick in woodsball :tard: . And my old armson 8" rifled thing because its practically a flashpoint and makes a lot of noise :wow: .

I use a 12 Dye ultralight normally. I also have a stainless version in 14. I have a 10 inch HEAVY Dye with just a muzzle break, that seems to be most efficient for the mag.

I use the stock J&J 2-peice. Best stock barrel I've ever used. But I'm looking into a Macdev Matchstick kit or a J&J Edge kit.

White wolf justice with a SS freak kit. Optimal length, suits all paint, end of story. The beauty of the justice is that it is one piece, eliminating a pointless junction between front and back.

The other benefit is that I have a justice (Frantom) for my phantom as well, so not only do they look nice in the barrel bag being identical bar the receiver thread, but I have 8 bores for each of my markers.

Simple, cost effective and elegant

I use a 14" all-american back and front and it works great.

I have a 9 piece or whatever empire kit for my cocker and usually use that. Or a 12" bigshot.

I use the stock 12” J & J x-mag barrel and a 10” Stiffi carbon fiber barrel. They are both excellent barrels.

I use a Smart Parts 12 Teadrop. awsome barrel. I also have used stiffi 14 and that was ok. I gotta say the tear drop is awsome.

did the stiffi 10 inch work good like the ultralight. becasue iam want to get a 10 inch stiffi or ultralight 10 inch. since u used both barrels which one u think shots betta? dose the 10 inch stiffi shott the same as a 14 inch stiffi?

I use an older Dye 14" black alluminum and it works very well with marballizer. I used to have a 12" perfect bore ceramic and that was probably the best all around barrel I ever used on my mag.

Though the price is low, the J&J Ceramic is really excellent. It's quite clear that misses are my fault and not the marker's. And, you know, it costs like 1/4 what a multi-piece costs.
