you know that light can go under the barrel right. How do you like the red dot sight.

I have always thought that a light on my gun is bad. People tend to shoot towards light. When i turn my light on during a game, it is usually at arms length away from me or on the other side of a tree, just to keep people from shooting right at me. I guess one like that could help you walk at night when you are sure your in safe areas.

I mounted it up over the barrel to give better target illumination. As far a how I use it -- I never use it for night time navigation. The way I use it is VERY sparingly. Only when I see my target, and then I quickly "strobe" the light with the pressure pad (flicking it on and off quickly). Then I take the shot, and quickly move out of the area. I never leave it in the on position. For night time navigation, I use a very small red LED. If used correctly, Tactical lights are very effective, and can be used with minimal problems as far as exposing your position is concerned.

I love using Red Dot scopes. I have them on almost all of my markers and guns . They can be used for dialing in arch by just placing the dot over the head of your opponent as well (in paintball that is).

I like the flashlight like that. It's the same way I run mine. :D I found there wasn't alot of romm on the bottom. The wire gets all squished up. Looks good even though I like black flashlights.

Thanks for the nice comments guys...

As far as night vision is concerned. -- I have a couple. Unfortunately the eye relief is usually not a good match for use with a mask. I toyed with the idea during a 24 hr senario, but haven't found the one that would work the way I needed. You usually have to position the NV eyepiece very close to your eyes. If you pull it farther out to allow for a mask, the image gets very unclear.

Aahh -- you noticed. Thats actually a special order item that one of my team sponsors got for me. Its a very limited production item. From what I hear, I received one of the last two available for the foreseeable future. If I catch wind of more becoming available, I'll post it up.

Nice tac. May i ask how much the whole setup has cost you? (gun, sight, flashlight, all the special stuff)

I'd like a nice scenario marker, but I don't have enough money to have one as well as a normal one.

That wouldn't surprise me hearing that its done in house by Scepter upon request. You know how when someone gives you something and they say - " Dude - you have no idea how hard it was to get this !!! ".(Knowing quite well that your bud picked it up at WalMart.) I bet that was the case.--- lol.

Well, I picked up the Tac One for $350 (Certified Pre-Owned :D ) with low miles.
-- light and pressure pad with mount was $80.
--- Scepter 5pc Barrel kit was $125.
---- JCS MP style stock was $50.
----- Bushnell Red Dot sight was $100.
------ CQD Mil Spec sling adapter was $30.
------- CCI clamping feed neck was $30.

Whats real nice about the Tac One is that you can strip off all the senario crap and have a nice lightweight piece in minutes... Best of both worlds in one gun.
