can I use white lithium grease to grease up the gears in my warp feed?
the gears are plastic, and the tube of grease says its good for all metal parts that need lubrication. so i'm not sure if i can use it on plastic.
can i?

On the same subject, could it also be used on the drive wheels of the warp? I hesitate to use the cheap bottle of marker oil (PMI) that I bought because I'm not positive, but I think it's petroleum based, and I really don't want to put that on the drive wheels. What say you?

i use ACI airlube on my friction disks. the things that grab the balls. but it dries up after a while. its also gun lube. i dont see any harm in using gun lube on the friction disks.

Well what got me wondering is if a petroleum based lubricant would harm the urethane friction discs in any way. I know with rubber (petroleum based) it can deteriorate the rubber, but I wasn't sure about urethane. Thanks!

I don't see a problem with it being petroleum based, but when I put the lube on my friction disks, the balls slipped( could just be too much lube)
