View Full Version : A Little Frustrated With Tunaman...
Tuna,
I mailed you a money order on May 2. I have emailed you asking if you have received it along with my order. A week and a half later, I haven't heard from you at all.
What's up?
I do not like to air my laundry this way, but at this point, I feel it's the best way to get a hold of you.
Please reply here or via PM.
Thank you.
I been talking to him a lot, Tuna is a good guy. Deal with him all the time. He is so backedup he told me.... so prob same with you. Can trust him.
I'm not worried that I will not receive my order--that is not the issue. I know he has a great reputation and I'm not trying to harm that in any way! I have a game Saturday and I would have liked to have my stuff by then. I figured that two business weeks was enough time to get money to him and receive my order (just some macro and fittings, nothing special)-even by USPS.
I'm annoyed that I haven't heard back from him to let me know that he received my money--and that's basically it.
I even emailed him before I sent the money and let him know that I was sending money and what I wanted to order, hoping that he would be able to get it ready to ship as soon as he received my money.

ya i can see how that's frustrating. I'm pretty sure that Tuna's just backed up for personal or business reasons. As for using them this saturday, i guess you could get some back up ones for the time being in order to play, its not like they are a specific part that is only carried by Tuna.
on another note, you posted at 11:11 haha, sorry i just found that amusing.
I've got some older macro/fittings on my gun right now that work just fine. I am just wanting to replace them for newness/aesthetic reasons (especially the fittings)
So not getting this order will not keep me from playing. I've also got some back-up SS hoses, but putting them on requires changing my entire setup; which I prefer not to do.

I cant answer every email that asks "is it there yet? Did you get it yet? I got this MONEY Order only a few days ago. All orders are processed in the order they are received. Sorry for the delay, but pay for next day shipping if you want a guaranteed delivery date. Its on the way.

It has not been 2 business weeks. More like less than one. You gotta give me a break here. ;)

That's why they invented spam filters. :p

I meant 2 business weeks total (from ordering to receiving) --not that it's been two since I ordered it--sorry for the confusion!
I realize that you are busy with orders, but I think that a person should, at the very least, be notified that their money has been received--if paying by MO or cash/check.
This is my first order from you, so please excuse me for not knowing my "Tuna Ordering Etiquette" :D

I understand that your orders are processed in order. I guess I was naive in thinking that it wouldn't take any time to mail out some macro and fittings--I don't know your schedule, so I'm sorry for assuming... :(
Thank you, Tuna, for replying and for shedding some light (to me) on how hectic things get for you.

If you're not happy with Tuna, try adding some mayonaise and relish (I like sweet). Mix it up, put it on toasted sourdough. Mmmmm mmmm!

Sometimes patience is the best ingredient in a business transaction.
Tuna's always been kind of a "fishy" guy to deal with.
(listens for all the groans of a bad joke)
Things sure have changed from the pre-internet days of mail order. It used to be, "Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for delivery." Now everyone's getting excited if they're not emailed a tracking number within 12 hours!
Crazy,
Eric
