Marge ran onto the field without a mask.
Bart only wore googles, not a full mask.
They used pumps.
And they pointed the guns at people with masks.

It was funny though.

ya i figured somebody may not like the idea of people not wearing masks and stuff, but chances are that paintball will still get some good publicity

I was really mixed on the whole episode with all the religious depating and how they made fun of Marge and Flanders being a Christian, but then when Bart saw the paintball I was stoked. Still have a hard time agreeing with the overall message and premis of the episode, but the paintball part was kind of cool. Here is the clip:

Blue Collar TV did something with paintball too. They were wearing Dye gear, Profilers, and shooting Shockers (I think, only caught a glance at a commercial).

Actually you'd be surprised at just how many Church groups approve of paintball and voluntarily organize trips to fields. Church groups are a common occurance at many fields. So it's nothing new for many people, I actually met a "Christian Rock" guy a long time ago at a field. Talking to him and his group.

I am pretty sure there is, or was, a church in my area that actually ran a pb field... or that is what I was told, never went there myself

Yeah, it was a wierd episode. They were a couple things I didn't like about the paintball scene, but hey, not like anyone who doesn't play is going to notice.

one of the nearby fields is ran by a guy who i (think) is a pretty serious christian. he had some bible passages on the walls of the building and stuff.
