View Full Version : Air America Apocalypse Field Fill Mistake

I brought my Air America Apocalypse 68/4500 in to the local store to be filled. I handed the bottle to the owner and he takes it over to the fill station. He starts filling and he yells over, "Hey, you've got a leak". I'm like what the heck, I just got it filled last week fine. Another player was standing over by him and says, "You've got the fill on the output port not the fill nipple." The owner goes "Oh", hooks it up right and fills my tank.

At the field, I air up and the first shot is fine, the second and third shot bloop out, going maybe 5 feet. So I shut the marker down and it takes me a bit to get the quick disconnect of of the reg. There is a big pop of air when I get it off so I say what the heck and hook everything back together and the marker works fine the rest of the day.

Problems:
1. Output gauge is blown (owner will replace for free).
2. ????????

Questions:
1. Is there anything else that could be screwed up with the reg???
2. Is there any other tests to run or is marker running fine now good enough?

Thanks,
Cire
