You know, people use the iPod for things other than storing music.

the thing is, i have about 200 cd's. all of which i want on my music playing device, thats why i want a really large capacity music player, the 30 gb ipod would be fine i guess, the 20 would be calling it close if i were to purchase more cd's at a later date. the mrobe is just too cool though, but now that i read that, 30 gb photo ipod is my decision. thanks!

bill im only wondering about the PHOTO pat of your iPod quest...is that a featuer you're going to use? being able to display photos on my iPod seems pointless, to me, but maybe you'd have a use for it. only tryin to save ya $50 :)

well, apple doesnt manufacture any 40 gb ipods any more, its only the 20gb regular ipod. id rather have mre than 20 so im not calling it so close you know? so im hunting for the more capacity, and all they offer is the 30 and 60 in the photos, so it looks like thats what im gunna get. it isnt really a feature i would use, but it would be neat to have.

Well heres why people like having the photo capability on Ipods/Irivers/whatever... Because it gives u color everything... Like im sure a bunch of your cell phones have color screens... whats the point of that? Its worth 50 bucks.

yeah. my phone does have a color screen. why? because htey stopped making my v60 motorola phone i had for three years and replaced it with a POS plastic, phone that has a color screen. i'd rather the green & black screen ov my v60 and the metal casing to a color screen and plastic casing.

my color phone does nothing my v60 didnt of any real value. all it does is break every 6 weeks and make me repalce it (ive been through FIVE since i got this model in december--all free though)

Magman, get the photo it isn't that much more. And like you said they don't even make the 40gig. For me, the iPod photo is an awesome tool to have while on vacation or when I'm away from a computer for a while. I can take all the pictures I want and when I'm done I can move them on my iPod.

My v60 was a tank. however the antenna broke off completely, a common problem with them

right....but the ONLY problem, and a $5 fix. Now, every six weeks I go to alltel and get my v262 replaced. Not worth it. half the time, they can't move my phone book....which means manual reentry of 267 phone numbers....not fun

yeah, you're right. the v60 was a great phone. I wish motorola had stuck with the metal/small/kickass design. The only two things i didn't like was the antenna (already mentioned) and the fact that it had no sim card.

When i switched they were able to transfer my numbers to my new phone using that machine, but i no longer know if it is a mobile phone number or a house number on my new phone cause that information didn't get transfered. Which is annoying...
