I just gassed up my Xvalved mag for the first time in several months in preparation for D-day and Im getting a leak out the barrel of my mag, nothing major but it can be heard w/o having to put my ear up to the gun. The leak will stop/start and get louder/quieter while Im firing. Ungassed it and made sure the field strip screw was good and tight but the leak is still there.

Im fairly sure this is a problem w/ the lvl10 but Im by no means a parts and tools sort of person so I dont want to mess anything up. I should mention I have no idea what carriers/shims Im using, but I do know its exactly how it was when I bought it direct from AGD.

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Couple of drops in the air line and gas it up.

If it turns out the leak doesn't stop, while the gun is gassed up, put your finger up against the bolt and wiggle it. If it changes tone, go down 1/2 a size on the carrier. If it clicks and stops leaking, it's a shim issue.

It was clicking. Took the lvl10 apart and found 3 shims. Checked the installation guide, popped 2 shims back in, and it works great.

Great advice, I really appreciate it.
