How many shots is a lot?

Someone asked me how many shots were on my Ion today. I got it when they first came out, I have played with it two and a half months about. I estimated about 80K shots and they couldn't beleive that many.

How many shots are a lot? 10K, 20K, 100K?

..hmm..well..alot..hmm..Average Xball is probabbly 30k shots per event..15 cases per player for 2 days(pro Xball)..5 xball events,30x5=150,000 shots..thats alot.

Look at it this way... there are 500 balls per bag, 1000 per half a case and 2000 per case. If you say that you've shot 80,000 BALLS in a half a month? Yeah. I'd have to say that's quite a bit. If you're talking AIR and Balls, I can understand. But that's still a little bit of an overkill...

...10k is a lot. 5 cases in a month w/o a tourny is legit.

heh, my emags got like 50k on it right now, and i've only shot 2 cases thru it. most of it though is with 300 psi in the line and making the solenoid go click click click in hybrid... its fun :P

2-3 cases a day, 4 days a month....so that anywhere from 8000-12000 shots a month of paint, then add in all the dry firing that I do.....I would say probably around 15000 shots a month for me, and i only play rec ball.

Yeah, I like playing with the hybrid and a low psi too...I am guessing 10k a month is a good amount, because that is playing every weekend and then one day shooting a case. And 30k is Alot, because well, your shooting ALOT...

80k in 2.5 months is a lot, unless playing paintball is your job.

I don't think I've pulled the trigger 80k times on all my guns combined for the past five years. :cool:

I average 2 cases a weekend, no tournies included. I play almost every weekend as well. Thats 4x4000, so, 16,000 a month? Not including tech time, which may add another 1k shots or so, depending on what I'm doing. By now, my Alias, not even a year old, I'm sure has WELL over 200k shots on it. Probably more.

80k in three months is quite a lot. i estimated i went through 12 cases a month when i was playing every weekend...two days a weekend. then again, 6 of those cases came at tournaments....

that is a lot. I shoot maybe 1000 per day of play (ion). But still, I turn it on and click a hell of a lot.
