Looking at adjustables again, and I don't know where to start since my hands-on experience in the area is very limited.

For about six years now I have owned an original Apocolypse adjustable with the bulky steel reg.

Of all the gear that I have ever purchased I would say that has been by far the most usefull investment. Its awesome, and being adjustable I can run it on my pumps, speed, or cocker. LP or HP.. whatever.. just set the pressure :D

However I am figgin sick of the weight. I played pump for a few years and now any weight annoys the hell out of me.

So I am looking for a new adjustable to last just as long as my first one, but weight and consistancy are my main concerns this time.

I have been looking at the Worr Gas systems because of the reg size, but honestly.. I feel lost as to comparing the current systems because I cannot go handle/shoot them.

Any information/ personal comparisons would be of great help.

While cost is in some way a factor, I could honestly care less. This tank will hopefully last me another 6 years like my apoc has, so over the long run price will not be a matter.

I will get some hate for suggesting it but for a light adjustable that IS also pretty stable then look at the Smart Parts inline version of the Max Flo. By Inline I mean inline with your tank not the inline grip version.

my Dynaflow has been the best tank I've owned. Center Flag makes great stuff. I highly, HIGHLY recommend them. I'm sure there are other good tanks out there, but I coulnd't care less--I just want to shoot off a center flag

I second the dynaflow. It is treating me well. Sold the flatlines for dynaflowes. They are keeping up well and the on/off is niffty.

Thirded. Dynaflow all the way. Great flow, on/off is awesome.

Third on the Dynaflow. Lightweight, doesn't need any springpack for high output. Can hit 1000+ PSI. Best operation is 400-1000 I think. Not as good super low, I've never had to though.

Another one for the Dynaflow. I use an X-Stream and a Dynaflow and both are awesome. The X-Stream is a great screw-in adjustable but the Dynaflow is quite possibly the best adjustable regulator you can buy.

I have been reading that the dynaflow increase preasure as the tank preasure drops. How high does it increase? I will be running this on an 04 Speed, and I would be worried about exceeding the 450psi max input.

I'm going to jump the boat on this one... Get a new Apocalypse... 68/45's are only 270 at AA...

pressure goes up about 10% if i remember right....so as long as you set the tank to 400...you should be good.

anyone want to back me up on this?

dunno about the dynaflow, but i like the 4500 flatline. tuna sells em for just under $300

dynaflowwwwwwwww

I have the older style with the built in non-removable rail. God i love it. The output pressure increases to compensate for the lack of pressure in the tank. And ya gotta love the push-button on/off :headbang:

I've never had any trouble from my Centerflag stuff. I have a 68/45 Hyperflow and a 90/45 Dynaflow. I've been using CF tanks 100% since early 2002.

i ran a dyna too the only tank i will ever own, and i have owned them all. I have no idea what you guys are talking about inregaurds to the 10% pressure jump.

My understanding is (and correct me if I'm wrong) that all tank's output pressure will increase to some degree as the tank pressure falls (less pressure on the springs in the reg?).

All single stage regulators (practially all tank regs are) will increase pressure as the supply (tank) pressure drops. The dynaflow definately is no exception. When I used to tune for max legal reactivity I used to find my mech mag running away when I got low on air. This is not a problem now that I'm electro however.

ALso, I used to set my flatline to 1050 before it started running away. My dynaflow started running away at around 900. Which indicates to me that it's a lot higher flowing or faster recharging than a flatline.
