Is a Halo really worth the price?
How heavy is it compared to the eV II?

I thought my Halo was really heavy and made my gun off balance. I never shoot any long strings so it was just going to waste on me anyway. It's really awesome otherewise, and the shells are nice and solid, but I love my Reloader too much

yes, Halo's and reloader b's are stronger, more reliable and can shoot faster than eggs, plus they force feed the balls with a spring loaded drive cone = less chops. I had an egg and I will never go back to that thing.

Halo B's are great. They are strongly made and feed very fast. I reccomend the 9volt modd. Maxxes out the halo and feeds about 26bps :)

Ouch!

I've got an Egg, and so far, it hasn't given me any problems. The two things that I really don't like about it are:
1. It's off-balance. I don't like where the feedneck is placed. It seems like a weak point
to me.
2. The feed hole. It's not round, so it makes it a little bit difficult to speed load. Not a
great design...

I think the Diamonds are shiny-er. That's the only difference that I could tell. Don't quote me on that though...

The weight issue was tackled here:

As for whether it's worth it, the Halo (or ERB) is pretty much the best hopper you can get, so it's up to you to determine whether the price is worth it. The Egg is a competent loader, but not as solid, fast and imo balanced. But it worked fine while I used it and I still have it.

personaly, I like my apache better than the halo I had. Much lighter and 20bps feeding is more than enough. And it's cheaper., but still good quality and excellent customer service.

That was the next loader that I was going to ask about. I'll start a new thread for it though.

Q-loaders are not HOPPERS. There's a reason I used that word. Q-loaders may be fast, but they have their own set of limitations.

i agree, i love mine to death, but the whole reloading while still shooting thing is kinda a big disadvantage. then again, i'm just now starting the team circuit. i'll probably need to get a halo or ERB(i like this abbreviation :bounce: ) when i get my next marker(probably a viking).
