I purchased it for 200 which included the level ten upgrade, cp barrel, and a drop forward. Good deal? Well, I been searching around and saw that the originals are limited down to only a couple of upgrades. I was wondering if someone can list the possible upgrades. Also if there is anyway to convert it to a pro.

Thanks,

Eric

Helluva good deal for a classic marker. I believe AGD has a tradein program where they will hook you up. Might have to pay a bit though. www.airgun.com. For all your other ups, talk to Rogue and Tuna.

There is no way to convert it to a Pro, because the valve is differnt then other mags. You can buy a frame for it like an Intelliframe, Y-grip, Z-frame, and maybe some 90*s. You could also have the valve drilled to accept the ULT (light trigger pull). I wouldn't by upgrade that AGD offers, it doesn't seem worth it to me.

Frames, Barrels, and drilling for ULT is about it.

Unless you want an uber-light gun, thats all you really need anyway.

Get the right drop, maybe a warp and your done, you need nothing else to make an RT golden, I would also suggest a double trigger frame but it isnt essential

Treat it nice and it will pay you back a thousand fold.

pick up a repair kit if you get a chance its good to have around, but you won't need it

The upgrade is a waist of money, if your going to pay that much for a trade-in Valve just buy a new RT and you'll have a nice back up gun.

Wrong... Tom described the RT to ULE RT PRO upgrade in several threads here when the program was first offered... AGD does replace the older, smaller RT valve with an X-valve. You get a new body of your choice (that the old valve will not fit into), an x-valve, a standard vavle thumb screw, and a bushing that fits in the banjo bolt hole so you can use the standard thumb screw to hold the valve in. You still use the old RT rail, the only difference is the valve satety retention nub does not sit in the frame, it hangs outside it.

The only problem with this upgrade path is the cost of this upgrade is considerably more then buying a new RT custom. The RT custom price came down, but the RT upgrade/trade in program did not, so it doesn't really make any sense to spend the extra $$'s when you can purchase an entire new RT for cheaper.

ur limited to grips(intelli,Y,Z). lvl10, barrels and foregrips.

however, classic rts are absolutely beutiful as they are. my advice, get a intelliframe maybe a barrel. and leave it alone since u already got the lvl10.

its not going to be the lightest, but i will look better than any other.(as long as its chrome :D )

just my .02

btw, my only has z grip, lvl10 and a jacko barrel

Thanks for all your input. The marker comes with a benchmark double trigger with the dye sticky grips. I also paced an order on a warp feed for 50... I am looking around for the revvy loader, and a nice hpa tank to go along with it. I guess I should have posted earlier, prior to making the decisin I made. I am sure I will love the gun but I like to customize my gu and ahve plenty of options. Although I am limited, I am sure I can make the best of it. Thanks for all your help guys. Also, is there any place to get a 14 inch or 1 inch boomy for the mag? I used to play with cockers, (black magic, and gen x) and was a sniper for the team. I fell in love with long barrels as they did increase my accuracy. I am already enjoying the quick input, and thanks for a great start guys.

Well, time for 5th period... haha

Don't fall for the hype about longer barrels. The difference between a 12" barrel and an 18" barrel is the porting. The back of the barrel (where you get your accuracy) is roughly the same length on most barrels. Hell, your even using up more air with a longer barrel.

There is a reason for making the barrels longer. I personaly dont beleice that because of its length it gives greater distance. I too know its going to take more to compensate for the extra surface area. I prefer longer barrels as I use the tip of the barrels for aimiing purposes. Just a preference.

Like the others have said, just throw on an Intelliframe and as long as your LVX is tuned right, you're ready to rock and roll. Classic RT's are pimp and I even like the stock sightrail on it.

Here's mine:

Now that is one sexy marker... haha

How are the benchmark triggers? I am thinking, maybe I should sell the benchmark trigger and pick up that intelli frame.

I have an RT classic I bought on another board. It shoots great. I've had 3 different ones and always come back to an RT.
