I was just thinking, if I ship my marker into the states,( I am canadian) I don't want to get it lost or something. HOw much can you insure something for? For example, something is worth ten dollars, insure it for 15 dollars so if it gets lost your can replace it; and have $5 in your pocket...Of course, I am not in the business of going ahead and scamming a post office but if they don't do their job properly I feel that it wouldn't exactly be scamming them...Is this illegal in any way? AS long as your insure it at a reasonable close price...

Insure for what it costs brand new. That's what I do.

It is called mail fraud.

So if you send out an item and it is used. And if they lose it and damage it, how are you gonna replace your item? Buy a used one and run the risk of getting scammed?
