Hye Guys,
just curious, wondering what kinda lens everyone (or atleast the majority) of people wear when they play? Smoke? Clear? Amber? Yellow? Rose? Purple? Let me know...

I use a mirrored smoke JT thermal lens. Its awesome, crystal clear visuals.

I use a JT thermal yellow lens. It brightens things up at night but also gives you away more.

Mine is the mirror/prizm deal...I like it alot, its dark, so with my (kinda) sensitive eyes, it helps out quite a bit. And its JT thermal so no fog is a bonus!

i'm a purple kinda gal, eventhough it looks more like pink. also it doesn't make everything look pink as a amber lens would make everything look orange.

Clear for outdoor...

Amber for darker indoor fields...

I just need to find Rose colored lenses, then I look at life through rose colored glasses every time I play:)

Well, I normally wear the photocromatic raven lenses in my Nuvis-1 (which change from clear to purple when direct UV rays hit the lense) though with the visor, they dont often change, and ive order a thermal lense for the nuvis-1 which doenst come in photocromatic lenses, not yet at least, so I voted for clear :)

I like smoke. A lil easier on the eyes.

Just wondering guys,
I want to get smoke, but do you recomend using it if you play woods?
I play mostly speedball in the bright open sunlight with no shade, but sometimes, I play woods, where about 50% of the playing field is shaded.

Just wanted your opinions

HyperSnyper: In the woods with the shadows and shade, your best bet is to go with an amber lense. This color increases contrast and brightness. That's why most shooting glasses use amber or yellow lenses. You can use smoke in the woods, but you will loose some of the shadow detail.

i got so used to the mirrored lenzes, that when i started reffing, it was really wierd to wear a mask with the clear lenses. they won't allow mirrored lenses cause they say it makes it harder for us to see. so stupid. i can't wait to play this weekend with my normal lenses.

I love my amber Spectra lense. I have a clear one too, but I don't use it. Amber is nice in the woods, and it helps a little in the sun (Top Gun's speedball fields face the sun in the afternoon from the far end, so vision gets impaired, kinda sucks.

Either rose or yellow....both help with shadows in the woods. They bring a less contrasted backgroud on. I have problems with the real brite/real dark areas on sunny days. These lenses help.

I use a clear thermal lense when I play because I noticed that colored and mirrored lenses reflect the sunlight pretty bad.( It gave away their position and ultimately the game.)

The non-mirrored smoke lenses are not too bad though.
