Okay dont shoot me...

I was in the school shop finishing up a wooden lamp/drawer for my custom shop (opens for custom mag work next week, pm me or alphamag.com)...

Its made of cherry (which is hardwood for you non wood enthusiasts), so the finish nails kept buckling when I tried to nail them against the side of the grain. So I busted out the nailgun.

I was nailing the base togethor when the nail gun chuffed at me. It as leaking kinda, so I just tapped the safety down like I usually do, and it stopped. That's when it hit me. The thing reminded me of a mag. Now I dont know what the inside looks like, but theres a pin behind the trigger to actuate the "bolt" to hit the nail.. The velocity adjuster is in teh same place. And it chuffed.

WTF? Is this why there is that age old "AGD makes nailguns you foo" thing is still around?

It's a historic thread. It's stickied so everyone else can see that AGD did not in fact make Nailguns.
Why would you post in it?

Just to be clear, I have known for years that AGD doesn't and never made nailguns and that it was just an old rumor. I'm just pointing out the similarities in the one I used the other day.
