For starters, all of your teams suck, i have seen your rosters, and you all have no chance. Ao team 2 especially, and aftica, good idea loading enough people to field almost 2 teams, i know enough of you will be too hungover to play anyways.

For the rest of you, sans palmer( since im sure glenn is going to shell out a good amount for you guys to play) your companies dont care about you. Dye does care about us.

that would b the reason that, We have been completely outfitted in dye gear, pants, jersies, gloves and masks. What now :)

well, i find it funny, to even make your gun slightly competetive, you have to use the old, unrefined board from my marker type. the matrix board.

and boy is that a ghetto install. could have been done much cleaner, and much easier if you had used a morlock board. or hell even a t board.

its still a tippman, the bolt speed is still too fast, and they still break paint, and they are still 20 feet long and wonky to play with.

and you guys have absolutely no chance.

As for Palmers, we have a bunch of old guys who are there for one basic reason TO ENJOY THE GAME But the fact that one of our teams picked up 3rd place last year (I think all those guys are returinging) and the other team picked up Sportsmanship (4? of those people are returning) All by using Quality Mechanical Guns just might give POG a bit to be proud about. Personally if we have fun then this chickey is happy, and more so if Glenn and Craig Palmer are proud to have us using thier craftsmanship then that is better then any award that would end up lost in someones attic. :hail: :dance: :hail:

Just remembering the "exceptions" that were made to last years tourney to "let everyone play" (not neccesarily with what they wanted); resulted in a very unfair team dominating what was supposed to be a fair and FUN tourney. Granted I do not know a whole lot about the mechanics of paint ball guns, or the sport in general (just enough to know to stay safe and shot in the other teams gereral direction). There will be more then a handful of "newbies" playing as well as seasoned vets. Are the guns with all the top end equipment really needed in this type of tourney?? Wanna use that type of gear then get yourslef a 3 or 7 man team together, or use it in the scenario. :rolleyes:
That being said, I say keep the rules as they are.. They would not bend the 50 mile radious rules which on some teams meant that people could not play at all :cry: So why should the rules on the gun mechanics be bent?

While you are right about Emags being "huge" that is size only when compared to the palmer. Palmer's are made from brass as opposed to aluminum, therefore heavier.

One more thing to bear in mind, most of the palmer owners and mag owners are very VERY used to the so called "huge" markers, so it doesn't even factor in. So before you start beaking off, you should play with some dedicated mag/palmer shooters, not only will the mop the floor with you, their guns will still be in thier possession and working flawlessly, 6months(or more) down the road. With SP's track record for QC, can you honestly say that about the shocker?

Since the day I had it, it would feed 2 balls into the chamber, and the bolt would hit between them, thus breaking both balls. If you came within 3 feet of me, I had a nice super soaker. Wait wasn't it a team of OLD Palmers guys that came in third above the fresh young matrix guys?? Imagine that...
I have been playing almost ! full year, that is 1 tourney, 2 full weekends and umm a game against 13 year old kids every now and then... I had my first elimination in my first tourney, and quite a few since then..I am working on that acuracy thing, and I almost know how to turn off the saftey :dance: :dance: So I am thinking I am not quite a Newbie anymore.. more of a "there are guys around so I choose to be helpless untill they decide to teach me the proper way to play" .
