Of coruse with a Brand new Motorcycle in the bed :D . I REALLY like the Suzuki Bolovard M50. Both of those come to less than $80k combined.

But i dont have 80k so i settel for getting a 2005 Ford Ranger as soon as my F250 sells and a Yamaha V-Star next year.

Noce choice, but I think if I were going to go with a Monte Carlo, I'd have to go for one of the G-Body's.

The Acura NSX isn't what I'd call good taste, but whatever. 290hp V6 in a 3150lb car for that much money? What an effing ripoff. I've always thought they were worthless.

and my personal fav, the rx8. i absolutely love this car, autoweek loves this car, topgear loves this car, and i love driving it.
its so easy to drive fast, it handles amazingly, its quick, smoothe, all in all, its like a cheep supercar.

I noticed that... I couldn't find one that I really liked around 80k... if I could get something for above that... maybe an Aston Martin or something. A lot of cars at the 80k range... you wouldn't know cost that much unless you were very familiar with the models. And there's plenty of cars around 40k that I'd be happy with.

This is about 45-50k... wouldn't mind having one (although it's a glorified 4Runner, really):

1953 Corvette, serial #1. Of course I'd have to find it, the kill whoever posesses it to 'acquire' it for less than $80k.

1968 Camaro RS/SS, dropped, 17in fronts, 18in rears, the deepest, most beautiful blue candy ever created, over the finest white pearl base ever made, white leather interior, full chromed cage, custom 500cu v8(think Indy/F1 but bigger) turbo&nitrous/propane/water, T56 tranny, IRS, AWD, 2500lb curb weight, oh, and a realllllllly hot chick to go along with it. :) :woody:

Must hit 250mph, 1.5 lateral g, 9 flat 1/4mi or less.

Can't forget the electric cutouts either. Want it to purr or ROAR at will. :)

id have to agree with the lotus. they are sweet cars. dont really know many round the 80k range though. but i think we can all agree, the Murcielago is THE king of the road

oo, and why did you put the limit at 80k? didnt want to see bunches of ferarries and lambos and martains? or are you actually looking to buy a car

I'd take this. Think it's a good choice for a first bike? (Note Sarcasm)

And if you're going for top speed wait a bit hondas coming out with a bike to compete with the Busa, suposed to be the first production bike to break 200 out of the box.

I saw a 61 Vette the other day, I was looking at it and the owner walks up and tells me to watch out for the trunk monkey. The thing is mint, low milage, never restored, original owner, even has the original plates on it that he never turned in. Nice car.

Somehow I don't think your T56 is going to last to long behind that motor. Get a powerglide for highway fuel efficancy.

pyro, yes the CBR's are nice but if its your 1st bike i would not get anything to big. my friend had a CBR and he LOVED it. and i thought the early busa's broke 200 out of the box until the gov restricted them, i could be wrong.

I know, that's why I made the sarcasm note. I was looking at an older CBR600 but I think I'm going to pick up a 250 or 500 ninja because they can be had for almost nothing and I probably have a smaller chance of winding up with the bike riding me.
